Adventures with Skylar

Skylar is 22 and loves adventures. He is medically complicated with seizures, autism, and cerebral palsey. He is nonverbal and ambulates with a walker with assistance with balance and steering. He uses a wheelchair for long distances and extended outtings. He has a power wheelchair he is still learning to manuever.

I am Skylar’s guardian/grandma. I am an Occupational Therapist and the purpose of this blog is to provide my clients and other interested people with information that might be useful on their adventures.

We have just returned from a 2 week National Park Vacation that included Badlands, Glacier, Yellowstone, and Grand Tetons. We have a travel history that includes New York City and Disneyworld and we love to adventure here in Missouri.
